PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Sue has over 28 years experience as a Social Worker with extensive clinical experience in a variety of health care settings both in Australia and in the United Kingdom.  Her principal areas of clinical expertise have focused on spinal injuries and orthopaedic trauma (paediatric and adult), although her social work and people management skills see her involved in almost all rehabilitation specialties including aged care.

Sue was employed as the Rehabilitation Manager of one of Australia’s largest insurance agencies for almost three years managing their Compulsory Third Party Scheme so she has a thorough and valuable understanding of both the client’s and the funder’s expectations to rehabilitation.

Sue is able to provide the critical link between hospital and home since much of her role is based around the coordination of efficient and effective discharge planning and liaison with other community-based organisations.

Sue is based in our National Head Office.
