PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCEElizabeth has 19 years experience as a Physiotherapist and she has worked in hospital (both acute and rehabilitation) outpatient and home-based settings providing services to clients in all age groups. Elizabeth has extensive experience with adult and adolescent populations and has also worked in community settings with adults with both acquired and traumatic brain injuries as well as spinal cord injuries. Elizabeth has developed expertise and evidence based practice in the assessment and treatment of clients with a wide range of neurological impairments including those who have, Brain Injury, Spinal Injury, and Stroke. As well as the assessment and provision of physiotherapy services to neurologically impaired clients, Elizabeth has been actively involved with the Australian Physiotherapy Association with the development of the Titling and Specialisation Framework. As chairperson of the national committee, she assesses the academic and clinical standards of physiotherapists working in the sub-speciality of Neurology. Elizabeth's practical nature and ability to develop positive rehabilitation outcomes with a range of clients across varied age groups makes her an excellent therapist.
